We seek to model an experience of true partnership
Spark Leadership Partners is a network harnessing the talents and passion of a curated community of executive coaches, facilitators, learning designers, graphic recorders, illustrators, technologists, experience producers and knowledge domain experts who share Karin's philosophy and approach to spark possibilities. We are collectively invested in your growth and learning by creating experiences that surface insights, deepen connections, and expand how you see yourself and your context.
Karin Stawarky is the one whom individuals, teams, and organizations turn to when they are ready to spark positive shifts and experience significant growth.
As Managing Partner and Founder of Spark Leadership Partners, Karin is a seasoned executive coach and thinking partner to CEOs, founders, and business leaders from the Fortune 500 to start-up companies across a range of industries. She has coached executives from over 40 countries spanning 6 continents. Dr. Susan Ashford (Chair, Organization and Management Development, Ross School of Business, University of Michigan) featured Karin and her approach to coaching in her book, The Art of Flexing (September 2021).
She delights in helping people around the globe to understand the stories and patterns that enable and limit them, embrace possibility, and expand their contributions in business and beyond.
As a neuro-transformational coach, she practices an integrated, multi-disciplinary approach to growth which draws from the fields of neuroscience, psychology, adult development, organizational and team behavior, somatics, art, and spirituality. She offers a new lens on what it means to cultivate curiosity and deepen awareness in the relationship with yourself, which lays the groundwork for creating thriving collaborations with others. She crafts explorations that open you up to see, understand, and appreciate all of who you are. This enables you to tap a wider set of inner capacities while acting and reacting from a place of greater understanding and choice.
“As a coach to leaders around the world, I am shown almost daily the depth of what is common and shared in the human experience. We struggle with and yearn for many of the same things.
Developing more clarity about who you are, how you are, and why you are generates a profound shift in your ability to see fellow humans: you begin to see parts of you in them and parts of them in you. That naturally fosters more connectedness, opening the door to stronger, more effective collaborations.
As you deepen and broaden your relationship to yourself, your relationships with others will be transformed.”
Through her work over the years, clients refer to Karin as a guide, thought partner, sounding board, co-creator, a trusted source, and an illuminator. She is known for her ability to see and surface patterns, synthesize implications, and widen the lens on options and choices.
Having spent over 25 years at the intersection of strategy and organization, Karin brings a general management mindset, proven strategic aptitude, and deep organizational expertise to increase the effectiveness of executives and teams in leading organizations through change and uncertainty. Previously, as a corporate executive and as a partner of a global strategy consulting firm, Karin designed and led transformational initiatives distinguished by the ways employees throughout the organization participated in defining and implementing pathways to evolve the company in its strategic direction, growth, and effectiveness. Karin also coaches and facilitates in Harvard Business School’s flagship executive education programs.
Karin’s approach is further shaped by her commitment to artistic expression. As an interdisciplinary artist, she explores the creative process across multiple mediums from photography, charcoal drawing, print-making and handbuilt ceramics to improvisational quilting, metalwork, and blacksmithing. Her artistic practice informs her work with clients in offering different ways of engaging the brain and body to give voice to aspects of one’s identity, stories, and dreams.
